Boston Globe's New Blog About Obnoxious Boston Sports Fans

The Boston Globe launched a new blog called the Obnoxious Boston Fan. Yes, you guess right. It's all about Boston sports, with a slant towards how obnoxious us fans can be as we follow the Bruins, Celtics, Patriots and Red Sox.

For those of us who are part of this heralded (and hated group), you'll love it. For those who aren't, you'll hate it.

Guess that's the point.

The Red Sox Support the Bruins Quest for the Cup

Over the past 10 years, Boston sports teams have dominated in terms of championships. The Patriots have won three Superbowls. The Red Sox have won two World Series. The Celtics brought the franchise back to life with a championship season in 2008.

Now it's the Bruins turn as they go for the Stanley Cup. And while there are thousands upon thousands of supporters for the Bruins, there is one group getting behind the team: The Red Sox.

Apparently Celtics Forward Marquis Daniels wants to be a rapper. After listening to the type of rap he's producing, I'm asking him to stop the presses. It's crap rap. That really bouncy, singing, made for MTV crap-rap.

NBA 2K11: Got Rings?

So I'm chatting with my boy Joselin Mane on Twitter this morning and he hits me off with a link to this video. It's a promo spot for NBA 2K11, featuring Derrick Rose and David Lee, two young stars of the NBA. They are talking trash about their moves in the game -- playing themselves of course. Rose busts out a T-Shirt saying that Derrick got served.

Then out of no where comes Rajon Rondo with a t-shirt that basically tells both Rose and Lee that they haven't done jack sh*t because they haven't won a ring yet.

That's how you talk smack Rondo. Booooyaaahh!!!
